FREE MP3s of In-Deep Worship I

Gathered at Christ Methodist Church, Fri 20 Jun 08, for the inaugural quarterly In-Deep Worship event … warm lights in the old-fashioned sanctuary filled with high-tech equipment and gear, screens showing lyrics on both sides of the cross, images and animations nicely coordinated, music and voices finely tuned, over 300 like-minded believers worshipped the God of all creation, the God of creative works, the God Who is The Creator! I believe this is a spiritual landmark and a historical turning point in the life of the Body of Christ in Singapore. Not only are new songs being birthed by God and sung in individual churches, we are witnessing the beginning of an embracing of EACH OTHER’S SONGS, a humble commitment to rightly use the gift of songs God has blessed us with, songs birthed out of devotion to Jesus with an authority that comes from above, songs birthed out of agony, joy and victory! As with humbly dwell together in unity, God is commanding His blessings to flow from the top of our heads to the bottom of our feet, even life forevermore! (Ps.133) To God alone be the glory!

Here are the five Singaporean worship songs featured (click2listen):
1. For A Thousand Tongues (written by Andrew Yeo, Cornerstone Community Church)
2. Shout Your Praise (written by Eugene Wang, Christ Methodist Church)
3. Apple of Your Eye (written by Samantha Lim, Grace Assembly of God)
4. Like A Child (written by Pauline Phoon, Acts Centre)
5. Make A Certain Breakthrough (written by Ann Chan & Ruth Ling, Covenant Evangelical Free Church)

Bonus track: On Holy Ground (written by Patrick Leong, Damansara Utama Methodist Church, KL, Malaysia)

  1. I had heard Apple Of Your Eye a few times but during IN-DEEP-WORSHIP, I just felt this anointing as the song ministered and moved me. God was bringing me through a wilderness season and the song assured me that though external circumstances may make me feel He is far away, I remained the apple of His eye. Our way is not hidden from him.

  2. I totally agree with you Bernard, I’ve heard the song many times and that evening, God anointed the song powerfully and I felt the Lord speaking the same to me. Praise the Lord! Well done, Samantha!

  3. Well done, Samantha for writing Apple of Your Eye and Phyline for singing it so beautifully at In-Deep Worship!

  4. Thanks for sharing! =)
